How we see it
Together with voile, chambray is the classic summer shirting. Chambray has a crisp hand stemming from hard twist yarns. Unlike poplin, chambray doesn't stick to the skin easily, when it gets warm.

Origin
A hard-to-get shirting that very few shirtmakers will carry. Woven on old slow looms in Caullery (France) by Simonnot-Godard.

Order Note
Two metres of shirting is the normal amount for a shirt. Very tall and stout persons may add another half meter. Ask your shirtmaker, how much shirting he needs.
