How we see it Lacking a handkerchief, you cannot be considered fully dressed, much less well dressed, a man of style once wrote. Stuff the handkerchief in the breast pocket of your suit or odd jacket not worrying too much about how it looks. Skip the small pochettes, and go for a real handkerchief in a generouse size. It will not bulk in your breast pocket, it will flourish, if it is made of cotton or linen from extremely fine threads and long-stable fibers. Do not forget the hand-rolled and hand-stiched edges. A handkerchief is meant to be utmost refined.
Origin The handkerchiefes are made by a true expert in delicate cottons and linens, Simonnot-Godard. The small French-Belgian firm can trace its history back to 1787. They have been a supplier for the Haute Couture for generations. From weaving the fabrics to finishing the handkerchiefs by hand, Simonnot-Godard does everything in France like it has to be done. All designs are grounded in tradition.
